Racing towards 2014 and full implementation of government run healthcare

We’ve been guilty of giving Obama way more credit than he deserves in this government run healthcare bill. We dubbed it ‘Obamacare’ as though it derived from him, it didn’t.

It was a liberal dream sheet for totalitarian rule that had been already written and laying around in some desk drawer just waiting for the right time to be whipped out and used.

Obama didn’t conceive it, Obama didn’t convince the American people to accept it, and he didn’t get it legally through congress.

When this fully kicks in, will all hell break...

loose, or will we be living in hell?....
Will we be living in an America, where we have no choice, where human life is only worth what it produces for the government? Where when you are old and ill, the government has control over whether you get treatment or die and they can confiscate your property for their use?

What Nancy Pelosi didn't want us to know until after the Healthcare bill was passed. Remember she said, "Pass it and then read it!!".

JUDGE KITHIL wrote:

(Remember when Obama was called out as being a liar about this and the man was chastised for doing so, well he was telling the truth? Obama as usual was lying!)

The government will have real-time access to an individual's bank account and will have the authority to make electronic fund transfers from those accounts.

Page 429, line 13-25:
The government will specify which doctors can write an end-of-life order. (Death panels)

Judge Kithil then goes on to identify: "Finally, it is specifically stated that this bill will not apply to members of Congress. Members of Congress are already
exempt from the Social Security system, and have a well-funded private plan that covers their retirement needs. If they were on our Social Security plan, I believe they would find a very quick fix' to make the plan financially sound for their future."

If the government wouldn't spend our funds on providing for Illegal immigrants and all ACORN members, they might be able to do a better job for those who actually deserve to have it spent on them.

But Obama and his ilk reward their friends and punish their enemies and the old people are their enemy, since they do not bring in as much in taxes for government use and most of them see through the con of the Obama regime.
The 'government' helps illegals,
(but we aren't supposed to call them 'illegals' any longer because they are Obama's 'friends') so 'they' can get their votes forever, so 'they' can stay in office. Plus, they will be a fresh and longer source of future tax revenue. Therefore, the government caters to them, at least, for now.

The government can raid citizens assets, when they get ill, as what they have saved, earned and worked for all their lives, become a piggy bank for government use. This so-called 'Healthcare Bill' is not about health, or life, it's about government control of your life. It's about taxes and confiscating resources from the real American citizens.

Once the older generations have passed on (the Obama Regime wants this to happen sooner rather than later) America as we know it, will cease to exist. It will become just another socialistic/communistic country full of people controlled in every aspect of their lives by the government regime.

This is exactly what our forefathers warned us about and why they set up government checks and balances to avoid and to curtail. But Obama and his ilk are ignoring our Constitution, our Bill of Rights and destroying everything that made America free... And America is the home of the 'brave' and the 'free'.

This 'Healthcare bill' is not about health. It is about control, death and a power grab of the assets of private citizens...
So thanks to Pelosi, Obama and their ilk, our Healthcare is being destroyed, are rights taken, choices gone, and our property seized.
I believe it fully kicks in 2014. It's implementation of the NWO.
So will all hell break loose, or will we be living in a hell of the Obama regime and those who back it and pull its strings, making?

Subway Founder: Subway Would Not Exist If Started Today Due to Government Regulations

The federal government is killing America! And it’s on purpose! There can be no new world order with a free America and they want the new world order…

SUBWAY Founder Slams Regulations: 'If I Started Today, SUBWAY Would Not Exist'...

  • Deluca: Payroll tax increases, Obamacare pose challenge to small business
BY: Washington Free Beacon Staff February 27, 2013 2:27 pm

President and founder of Subway Fred Deluca described some of the challenges payroll tax increases and Obamacare have presented small business franchisee owners Wednesday on CNBC.

Deluca said the number one issue facing Subway franchisee owners is how Obamacare will impact their expenses, noting any increase in costs will be passed along to the consumer through higher prices.

Additionally, when asked about the modern business climate for young entrepreneurs, the Subway founder stated “Subway would not exist” if he started it today due to onerous government regulations:

SIMON HOBBS: It’s 13 years since you wrote the book “Start Small, Finish Big” which was about grass roots entrepreneurship. Do you think the environment for those chasing the American dream by setting up their own business has gotten worse or better in those 13 years?

FRED DELUCA: It’s continuously gotten worse, because there’s more and more regulations. It’s tougher for people to get into business. Especially a small business. I tell you, if I started Subway today, Subway would not exist, because I had an easy time of it in the ’60s when I started. I just see a continuous increase in regulation.

Former Secret Service agent says gun control is about people control

Why Is This Month-Old Clip of an Ex-Secret Service Agent Suddenly Going Viral?

Feb. 22, 2013 9:40pm Mike Opelka

Dan Bongino lost his race for the U.S. Senate last Fall and the former Secret Service agent was finally closing up shop on his campaign offices when his phone started ringing like crazy. Television and radio shows were calling to ask Dan if he was free… free to talk about this brief speech he gave on January 19th at a Guns Across America rally in Annapolis Maryland.

We started seeing the clip popping up on various pro-Second Amendment websites and wondered why the six minute speech had suddenly started attracting so much attention.

TheBlaze spoke with Dan Bongino on Friday night. He told us that the video had only generated about five or six views before this week.

“For three weeks, almost nobody watched it, then boom, this week it started getting posted in a few different places. I believe there are five or six versions of it that have already been seen 100,000 times.”

Bongino also speculated that the looming new gun laws coming to his home state of Maryland might also be fueling the spread of his message.

“The legislation they are close to passing is a path to confiscation.”

We also learned that the address was not something Dan Bongino had written down, “It was really just a few minutes of off the cuff remarks.”

Look for Dan Bongino on Wilkow! next week on TheBlaze TV.

I want my guns especially during a crisis but Guntersville city wants to take them then!

Who determines who is an ‘unruly’ individual? There are laws on the books about who can’t have guns, e.g., felons, some folks with mental health issues.

They just may decide to put returning vets, Ron Paul supporters, TEA partiers, WASP, anti-big government types, pro-second amendment advocates, pro-life advocates, conspiracy theorists, etc., on the list!

City Wants Power to “Disarm Individuals” During Crisis

  • Guntersville authorities would confiscate guns of “unruly” individuals during disasters

Paul Joseph Watson Infowars.com February 26, 2013

Guntersville (Ala.) Mayor Leigh Dollar is working with city officials to pass an ordinance that would give police the power to “disarm individuals” during a disaster, a chilling example of how the second amendment is being assaulted via the back door.

The new rule would allow authorities to confiscate guns of “unruly” people during an extreme weather event such as the April 2011 tornadoes or any other emergency.

“The ordinance states officers could disarm individuals, if necessary, reports ABC 31. “Dollar says the proposal is just way to give officers more authority to protect themselves.”

Dollar denied that the ordinance would be used to take away constitutional rights, but residents questioned why authorities would need to pass a new ordinance given that police already have the power to arrest citizens who are being “unruly,” whether armed or not.

“Well, it seems like an infringement on the 2nd Amendment and that’s the biggest problem I have with it,” said Guntersville Music Academy teacher Paul Landry.

Authorities are seemingly attempting to mirror unconstitutional gun grab powers that were enacted in the wake of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

In the aftermath of Katrina, the New Orleans Police, National Guard troops, and U.S. Marshals confiscated firearms. “Guns will be taken. Only law enforcement will be allowed to have guns,” New Orleans Police Superintendent Eddie Compass declared as he prepared to violate the Second Amendment.

The National Guard conducted warrantless house-to-house searches, targeting not just Hurricane-hit areas under the pretext of stopping violent looters, but also high and dry homes that were not even affected by the storm.

Authorities even confiscated pistols from old ladies, as documented in the video below.

The Guntersville gun grab ordinance will be on the city council agenda at their meeting on March 4th.

ABC edits out Michelle’s lie: “kids had some automatic weapons they didn’t need.”

ABC aired the segment on Good Morning America so the words Michelle spoke went out to the low information voters. A word is like a rock, once it’s cast it can’t be uncast. The got what they wanted in the interview but knowing it was a lie the change the print version to remove the lie. To cover Michelle’s rather bulbous rear end.

In fact, Chicago Police reported Pendleton was shot by a man who “opened fire with a handgun before fleeing in a waiting car,” according to the Associated Press.

Why would she lie like this, could it be that they are pushing a ban on certain kinds of guns right now and she wants to link this shooting to one of the proposed banned guns?obama-michelle-new-yorker

ABC defends editing Michelle Obama’s ‘automatic weapon’ claim

Michal Conger Staff Writer The Washington Examiner

ABC is defending its decision to edit out an apparently erroneous claim by Michelle Obama in its broadcast of the first lady’s interview on Good Morning America today, saying it made the changes “solely” for the sake of time.

As The Washington Examiner reported this morning, the first lady claimed during an interview with Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts that 15-year-old Hadiya Pendleton, who was killed in Chicago shortly after performing during the President’s Inauguration, was shot because “some kids had some automatic weapons they didn’t need.”

In fact, Chicago Police reported Pendleton was shot by a man who “opened fire with a handgun before fleeing in a waiting car,” according to the Associated Press.

For the broadcast, ABC’s Good Morning America producers edited out the first lady’s “automatic weapon” line.

“She was standing out in a park with her friends in a neighborhood blocks away from where my kids grow – grew – up, where our house is. And she was caught in the line of fire. I just don’t want to keep disappointing our kids in this country. I want them to know that we put them first.”

In the web edition of the story, however, Michelle Obama appears to be quoted in full:

“She was standing out in a park with her friends in a neighborhood blocks away from where my kids…grew up, where our house is. She had just taken a chemistry test. And she was caught in the line of fire because some kids had some automatic weapons they didn’t need,” she said. “I just don’t want to keep disappointing our kids in this country. I want them to know that we put them first.”

ABC News commented on its editing choice this afternoon, telling Mediaite, “The full story was posted to our website in advance of the interview being broadcast. The edits made to Robin’s interview with the First Lady were made solely for time.”

Smoking gun: DOJ memo says gun registration is necessary step toward gun ban

The first headline below is from the DrudgeReport, the second from big media, notice a difference?

Drudge highlights the contents of the memo, while ABC attacks the NRA for drawing conclusions about the contents of the memo. This is the way the media controls the thinking of the masses.

They could have questioned the government about the contents but they chose to question the NRA ‘s use of the contents.

Doesn’t that tell you something about big media, they have an agenda. And that agenda is solidly liberal!

You wouldn’t even know the memo existed if it was left up to big media, the NRA dug it up, not big media. That used to be their job, digging up stuff…not anymore They only dig up stuff damaging to conservative causes!

DOJ memo urges gun registration, 'massive' buy-back program 'coupled with ban'...

NRA Uses Justice Memo to Accuse Obama on Guns

ABC OTUS News – 10 hrs ago

The National Rifle Association is using a Justice Department memo it obtained to argue in ads that the Obama administration believes its gun control plans won't work unless the government seizes firearms and requires national gun registration — ideas the White House has not proposed and does not support.

The NRA's assertion and its obtaining of the memo in the first place underscore the no-holds-barred battle under way as Washington's fight over gun restrictions heats up.

The memo, under the name of one of the Justice Department's leading crime researchers, critiques the effectiveness of gun control proposals, including some of President Barack Obama's. A Justice Department official called the memo an unfinished review of gun violence research and said it does not represent administration policy.

The memo says requiring background checks for more gun purchases could help, but also could lead to more illicit weapons sales. It says banning assault weapons and high capacity ammunition magazines produced in the future but exempting those already owned by the public, as Obama has proposed, would have limited impact because people now own so many of those items.

It also says that even total elimination of assault weapons would have little overall effect on gun killings because assault weapons account for a limited proportion of those crimes.

The nine-page document says the success of universal background checks would depend in part on "requiring gun registration," and says gun buybacks would not be effective "unless massive and coupled with a ban."

The administration has not proposed gun registration, buybacks or banning all firearms. But gun registration and ownership curbs are hot-button issues for the NRA and other gun-rights groups, which strenuously oppose the ideas.

Whether to require record-keeping for private gun sales is holding up a congressional compromise on legislation to expand background checks, now required only for transactions by federally licensed dealers, according to people familiar with bipartisan Senate talks who spoke on condition of anonymity because the talks are private.

Justice Department and White House officials declined to provide much information about the memo or answer questions about it on the record.

The memo has the look of a preliminary document and calls itself "a cursory summary" and assessment of gun curb initiatives. The administration has not release it officially.

But the NRA has posted the memo on one of its websites and cites it in advertising aimed at whipping up opposition to Obama's efforts to contain gun violence. The ad says the paper shows that the administration "believes that a gun ban will not work without mandatory gun confiscation" and thinks universal background checks "won't work without requiring national gun registration" — ideas the president has not proposed or expressed support for.

"Still think President Obama's proposals sound reasonable?" Chris W. Cox, the NRA's chief Washington lobbyist, says in the ad.

Last month, White House spokesman Jay Carney said none of Obama's proposals "would take away a gun from a single law-abiding American." Other administration officials have said their plans would not result in gun seizures or a national gun registry.

A Justice Department official who would only discuss the issue on condition of anonymity said the NRA ad misrepresents Obama's gun proposals and that the administration has never backed a gun registry or gun confiscation.

While the memo's analysis of gun curb proposals presents no new findings, it is unusual for a federal agency document to surface that raises questions about a president's plans during debate on a high-profile issue such as restricting firearms.

Obama wants to ban assault weapons and ammunition magazines exceeding 10 rounds that are produced in the future. He wants universal background checks for nearly all gun purchases. Today, checks are only mandatory on sales by federally licensed gun dealers, not transactions at gun shows or other private sales.

His plan also includes tougher federal laws against gun trafficking and straw purchases, which occur when a person legally buys a firearm but sells it to a criminal or someone else barred from owning a weapon.

Interest in the gun issue has intensified since the December shootings in Newtown, Conn., that killed 20 first-graders and six staffers at an elementary school. The Democratic-led Senate Judiciary Committee plans to write legislation addressing some of Obama's proposals in the next week or two.

The NRA's Cox declined to say how his organization obtained the memo.

He said the commercial is running online in 15 states, including many Republican-leaning states where Democrats will defend Senate seats next year, such as Alaska, Arkansas, Louisiana, Montana, North Carolina, South Dakota and West Virginia. There are also ads in papers in five states.

The memo was written under the name of Greg Ridgeway, acting director of the National Institute of Justice, the Justice Department's research arm. It is dated Jan. 4, nearly two weeks before Obama announced his plan for restricting guns, and Ridgeway's first day as acting chief.

Justice Department officials said Ridgeway was not granting interviews. He came to the institute last July from the RAND Corporation, a nonprofit research institution where he studied criminal justice issues, and has a Ph.D. in statistics.

The memo says straw purchases and gun thefts are the largest sources of firearms used in crimes, and that such transactions "would most likely become larger if background checks at gun shows and private sellers were addressed."

Gun control supporters said the NRA ad and the Justice memo don't mention that the current federal background check system blocked gun sales to 2.1 million criminals and others barred from owning guns between 1994, when the checks began, and 2010. Also ignored is that Obama has proposed cracking down on straw purchases to prevent a growth in illegal transactions, they said.

Advocates of restricting guns also said the memo omitted mention of several studies that affirm the effectiveness of firearms curbs. These include a 2010 police group analysis showing more than one-third of police departments found increased criminal use of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines since the 2004 expiration of the ban on those items.

"It doesn't appear to be a serious discussion of gun violence prevention policy, never mind an expression of administration policy," said Joshua Horwitz, executive director of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence.

The memo says that out of 11,000 annual gun homicides, an average of 35 deaths yearly are from mass shootings, defined as those with four or more victims.

"Policies that address the larger firearm homicide issue will have a far greater impact even if they do not address the particular issues of mass shootings," it says.

It says there were an estimated 1.5 million assault weapons before the 10-year ban on those firearms began in 1994, so their sheer number would weaken a new ban exempting existing weapons. Such guns accounted for just 2 percent to 8 percent of crimes before the 1994 ban, so eliminating assault weapons "would not have a large impact on gun homicides," the memo said.

Recent data on the assault weapons ban impact is scarce because since the 1990s, Congress has blocked most federal research on the effect that firearms have on public health. As part of the gun restrictions Obama proposed last month, he ordered federal scientific agencies to research gun violence.

Dr. shortage in Florida due to Obamacare, who’d a guessed it?

Florida doesn't have enough doctors for Medicaid expansion, lobby group says

February 22, 2013|By Kathleen Haughney, Tallahassee Bureau

TALLAHASSEE Brace yourself for longer lines at the doctor's office.

Whether you're employed and insured, elderly and on Medicare, or poor and covered by Medicaid, the Florida Medical Association says there's a growing shortage of doctors — especially specialists — available to provide you with medical care.

And if the Florida Legislature goes along with Gov. Rick Scott's recommendation to offer Medicaid coverage to an additional 1 million Floridians — part of the Affordable Care Act that takes effect next January — the FMA says that shortage will only get worse.

"Florida needs more doctors and it needs more nurses, and it needs them working together in teams," said Rebecca O'Hara, a lobbyist for the FMA.

About 15 million Floridians have health insurance today, and Obamacare, which requires most adults to have coverage by January, could add as many as 2.5 million more. One million would come through a potential expansion of the federal-state Medicaid program that Scott announced this week he was backing. The others would be the result of new mandates requiring employers and individuals to have insurance or be fined.

Currently, the state has 44,804 doctors, but about 5,600 of them are expected to retire in the next five years. And even though Florida has opened three new medical schools in the past dozen years, the state isn't producing as many doctors as it needs. Scott's budget this year has $80 million to fund programs to train 700 new residents a year, in hopes they'll remain in the state.

Of all patients, people covered by Medicaid may have the hardest time finding a doctor; only 59 percent of the state's physicians are taking new Medicaid patients, according to a Kaiser Health News study.

Committees in both the House and Senate have been meeting for the past two months to discuss implementation of the Affordable Care Act. On March 4, they expect to see two major studies by the Office of Economic and Demographic Research, one that looks at the overall economic impact of the health-care overhaul and another that simply examines Medicaid expansion.

Scott, however, has already made clear how he feels about that.

On Wednesday, he unexpectedly announced that he had reversed his earlier, adamant opposition and now wants a three-year expansion that would cover single adults and families earning up to 138 percent of the poverty line; the costs would be fully covered by the federal government. If the expansion is re-approved after three years, the federal government is committed to paying no less than 90 percent of the cost.

House and Senate leaders will begin their budget deliberations in the coming weeks, which will include the decision over new residency slots, along with the debate over whether to expand Medicaid. Many lawmakers have expressed opposition.

Sen. Joe Negron, R-Stuart, who chairs the Senate committee studying the AFA, said lawmakers have heard concerns about a potential physician shortage, but he said he did not believe that would be a "determining factor" in the committee's decision over whether to expand Medicaid.

One reason, he said, is the responsibility for coverage may soon be falling to private health insurance companies or physician groups.

The federal government this week gave Florida preliminary approval of a plan that would put most of Florida's current 3.3 million Medicaid recipients — and any added via expansion — in some form of managed care, either HMOs or doctor-run networks, by 2014. In order for HMOs or the provider service networks to get state-approved contracts, they must prove they can provide "adequate" care, which means patients must be able to see a doctor in a reasonable time.

"It's their responsibility to have network adequacy," Negron said of the private providers. "So, they'll be responsible for making sure people can get care with network physicians."

Negron also noted that the amount doctors will be paid for seeing Medicaid patients is rising, which may prompt more physicians to take them. As part of the health care law, primary-care doctors will be paid as much for a Medicaid patient as they are under Medicare, a 73 percent increase.

Health care advocates who back the expansion say they aren't worried either.

Greg Mellowe, policy director for health advocacy group Florida Chain, said the state needed to carefully watch the situation as it develops, but added, "We don't believe that there is a crisis brewing."

Mellowe noted that many uninsured already receive care — often in emergency rooms, which is more expensive — that hospitals aren't paid for. If many of these patients have insurance coverage, he said, hospitals may see an opportunity to shift resources to primary care settings.

Lawmakers are slated to return to Tallahassee the week of March 4 for the beginning of the 2013 legislative session. The studies from the state economists are also due at that time.

Negron said until the state can look at that information, it was impossible to say what direction the Legislature would take.

"It will be a judgment call to make on the right way to proceed for Florida's families and businesses," he said. "I just think it's too early to tell where either the House or Senate will come down on this."

Government paying employee $1 million a year for green energy pipedream

CO: Secret energy lab spawns million dollar govt employee

By Tori Richards and Earl Glynn | Colorado Watchdog

GOLDEN, Colo. – The federal government’s dream of a renewable energy empire hinges on a scrubby outpost here, where scientists and executives doggedly explore a new frontier.

National Renewable Energy Laboratory campus

If you live outside Colorado, you probably haven’t heard of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory – NREL for short. It’s the place where solar panels, windmills and corn are deemed the energy source of the future and companies who support such endeavors are courted.

It’s also the place where highly paid staff decide how to spend hundreds of millions in taxpayer dollars.

And the public pays those decision-makers well: NREL’s top executive, Dr. Dan Arvizu, makes close to a million dollars per year. His two top lieutenants rake in more than half a million each and nine others make more than $350,000 a year.

Dan Arvizu

But what is really going on there? Energy expert Amy Oliver Cooke drove out to the site, which looks something like Nevada’s Area 51 with its remote location and forbidding concrete buildings. NREL had started a construction project and Cooke wanted to see for herself. She didn’t get far: a man in an SUV seemingly appeared out of nowhere, stopped her car, and told her to leave.

“A beefy looking fellow told me, ‘It’s top secret,’ said Cooke, director of the Energy Policy Center at the Independence Institute think tank. “I said, ‘I’m a taxpayer and I want to see what you’re building’ and he said it was it was ‘top secret so we can bring Americans a better future.’”

With its bloated budget and overseen by a $533 million a year government-funded management company, Cooke isn’t buying it.

“NREL has given us two of the most significant boondoggles, one of them being ethanol and the other being (bankrupt) Abound Solar,” she said. “They were part of the team that pushed Abound Solar along. In fact, they wrote in March 2011 on their website how proud they were of their role in abound solar.

“Am I impressed with NREL? No, not really,” she said.

Ed Perlmutter

NREL’s taxpayer-funded management company has seen its budget more than double since 2006. That’s when one of its most ardent supporters, Rep. Ed Perlmutter D-Lakewood, was first elected to Congress. The lab sits in the middle of his district.

But Perlmutter’s ties go beyond merely promoting green legislation and lobbying his colleagues for NREL funds. He has received $12,670 in campaign contributions from executives of NREL and its management company, MRIGlobal, a company that describes itself as “an independent, not-for-profit organization that performs contract research for government and industry.” Perlmuter’s father has served as a trustee for MRI and MRIGlobal during the past decade. Between 2003 and 2005, Perlmutter was also a trustee. These positions were unpaid.

Perlmutter did not respond to phone calls seeking comment for this story.

FOLLOWING THE MONEY

Funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, NREL started in 1977 as the Solar Energy Research Institute, a Jimmy Carter-era response to the 1973 Mideast oil crisis. Its budget, then about $100 million, was slashed during the Reagan era.

By the time Perlmutter was elected, NREL’s budget was $209.6 million. It increased steadily before ballooning to $536.5, a beneficiary of President Obama’s stimulus plan and a $135 million contract spread out over five years to construct a new science center. Its current $352 million budget is down slightly from last year’s $388.6 million.

From its inception, NREL has been managed by MRIGlobal, back then called the Midwest Research Institute.

To handle lab management, MRIGlobal partnered with Ohio-based Battelle Memorial Institute, which describes itself as “the world’s largest nonprofit research and development organization.” The pair formed Alliance for Sustainable Energy, a separate non-profit in 2008, for the sole purpose of managing NREL and installed NREL’s top executives as its directors.

Despite record federal debt, municipal bankruptcies and a nagging global recession, those executives enjoy pay packages that are out of reach of most Americans who pay their salaries. MRIGlobal and Alliance tax documents obtained by Watchdog show most earned well into six-figures:

  • Dan Arvizu, Alliance president and NREL director

2010: $928,069

2009: $691,570

2008: $652,159

Bobi Garrett

  • Bobi Garrett, NREL senior vice president of Outreach, Planning and Analysis

2010: $524,226.

2009: $398,022

  • William Glover, NREL deputy lab director and CEO (retired)

2010: $557,571

2009: $407,361

2008: $315,465

  • Catherine Porto, NREL senior vice president

2010: $406,339

2009: $223,553

The budget to manage Alliance is mind-boggling — and rising. For 2010, tax documents show, Alliance received $532.9 million from the Department of Energy, a whopping $189 million more than they were paid in 2008.

In 2010, MRIGlobal’s tax return shows DOE funding of $104.8 million, while Battelle’s tax return reported $4.55 billion in government grants. Its activities included management of five national laboratories (including NREL) and operating as subcontractor at a sixth.

However, at least one expert who has studied NREL doesn’t see any problem with the fact that the agency is overseen by a management company.

“I have no problems with the contractors operating the lab. They would do a much more efficient job than the government,” said Nick Loris, an energy policy analyst with the Heritage Foundation. “It should lower the cost of these projects.”

But what Loris doesn’t like is the entire concept of placing the government in a role of making energy affordable. That should be a job for the private sector.

“It’s not the government’s role to make energy cheaper. There is no reason the taxpayer should subsidize this,” he said. “We’ve seen the failures when the government gets involved in these projects. If they are going to be successful in the marketplace, they wouldn’t need help from the government”

UNSUSTAINABLE LEVELS

In fact, the billions that have been siphoned into renewable energy have yet to produce a fraction of the promised return, Cooke claims.

Solar and wind still remain prohibitively expensive and not viable for general use as are corn and wood chips to fuel cars. Yet NREL labs continue to work to this end. Cooke predicts that numerous taxpayer-subsidized companies will go bankrupt in the coming years just as the overinflated housing market came crashing down.

And it’s not just the money, she said. It’s the environmental threat.

Solar companies have been fraught with bankruptcy

“I’ll tell you what’s pollution,” Cooke said. “It’s solar panels and wind turbines abandoned — things with toxic chemicals in them,” she said. “We don’t know what’s going to happen to these things. What do you do with a farm of abandoned wind turbines that are 500 feet tall?”

Despite its bloated stimulus funding, there are signs of financial trouble at NREL. The company offered to buy out 100 jobs when its budget dropped between 2011 and 2012.

Perlmutter spokeswoman Leslie Oliver expressed concern about the buyouts, calling NREL the nation’s green energy “crown jewel” and a driving economic force, the Denver Post reported.

“What about next year?” Oliver said. “Where does this stop?”

On his website, Perlmutter blamed Republicans for the cuts and claimed NREL generates 5,500 jobs. Its direct workforce is listed at 1,700.

By all accounts, Perlmutter’s relationship with NREL will continue. He spent two years trying to pass legislation to give solar companies a break with bankers before successfully adding the language to the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009.

He is co-chairman of the New Democrat Coalition Energy Task Force, part of the Financial Services Committee. Perlmutter has leveraged that role to keep alive a 20-year-old energy tax credit to producers of wind technology.

That credit would have expired at the end of the year. But the Financial Services Committee produced a bill to extend the credit for another year, which carries a cost of $12 billion over the next decade, The Hill reported. It faces stiff opposition from House Republicans.

Meanwhile, as energy expert Cooke predicts, the green business is still shaking out unsustainable ventures. The Danish wind company Vestas, which has several Colorado production sites, announced on Nov. 7 that it will shed 6,700 jobs through the end of next year.

Who’s to blame for the industry’s troubles? Government subsidies? Poorly run companies? Insufficient demand? Foreign competition?

Perlmutter blamed the Tea Party.

“It is clean and it is the future of energy production,” Perlmutter wrote on his website. “Until the Tea Party took over this has always been a simple, noncontroversial tax credit.”

Obama lies, says sequester not his idea, reporters and politicians say yes it was his idea!

Of course the NYT, CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, etc. will not report this (except for Obama’s denial) so Obama’s low information voters will never even know his assertion is disputed by the facts.

In any event, the president can decide where the monies are allocated if he allows the sequester to happen. He can mitigate it’s effect.

Instead he tries to scare every facet of society into believing that they, their children, and their parents will starve if the Republicans don’t give into him!

Presidential welfare: On our dime, the Obama’s wine and dine, golf, shop, and vacation!

The World’s Greatest Welfare Recipients: Barack And Michelle Obama!

February 20, 2013 By Tim Powers

Obamas SC The Worlds Greatest Welfare Recipients: Barack and Michelle Obama!

As most of the taxpayers in America are upset with the low information voters who game the welfare system and refuse to work an honest day in their life to contribute, one thing stands clear. They have great teachers.

Your typical professional welfare gamer has no problem using their food stamp card to purchase steak and lobster; we have seen this with our own eyes many times in the supermarket. They are handed free housing, free medical care, free child care for the many illegitimate children that they may have, cash assistance, and any other perk that may be available. All without working a day in their life.

Sound familiar? We have a man and his family (including his mother-in-law) living in a house that is owned by the American taxpayer, being fed with food supplied by the American taxpayer, who is able to party with the rich and famous on the American taxpayer’s dime and take separate vacations from his wife, also at the taxpayer’s expense.

Now for his work history. He was absent when Americans were being killed in Benghazi, Libya. He was absent and had to be brought in from the golf course during the Osama Bin Laden raid. He was absent from the funeral of the great American sniper Chris Kyle, who died while trying to help fellow vets. He has been absent from the conversations concerning America’s fiscal and employment problems. Instead, he concentrates on things that will give more perks to him and his fellow welfare recipients.

A short time ago, Rush Limbaugh referred to Barack Hussein Obama as “Santa Claus“. At this point, I beg to differ with Rush. Obama is just another welfare recipient; it is the American taxpayer who has become “Santa Claus.”

So as Obama continues to train up his fellow welfare recipients, all I can say at this point is to be sure to show up for work tomorrow because someone has to pay for it. As always, stay safe and be aware of your surroundings.

Firearms related companies enact gun control policies against gun control municipalities

At least one of them should expect an ATF raid and an IRS audit shortly as a warning to the rest, maybe even an inspector from the EPA looking for anything they could be intimidated by.

The criminal Obama administration won’t stand for this, that’s my guess…

Firearms Companies Restricting Sales To GOVERNMENT Agencies In Areas That Restrict Gun Rights

By Gregory Gwyn-Williams, Jr.

A growing number of firearm and firearm-related companies have stated they will no longer sell items to states, counties, cities and municipalities that restrict their citizens' rights to own them.

According to The Police Loophole, 34 companies have joined in publicly stating that governments who seek to restrict 2nd Amendment rights will themselves be restricted from purchasing the items they seek to limit or ban.

Extreme Firepower Inc., located in Inwood, WV has had a longstanding policy that states:

"The Federal Government and several states have enacted gun control laws that restrict the public from owning and possessing certain types of firearms...If a product that we manufacture is not legal for a private citizen to own in a jurisdiction, we will not sell that product to a law-enforcement agency in that jurisdiction."

York Arms, located in Buxton, ME released a statement following new legislation in New York:

"Based on the recent legislation in New York, we are prohibited from selling rifles and receivers to residents of New York. We have chosen to extend that prohibition to all governmental agencies associated with or located within New York."

Quality Arms, located in Rigby, ID writes on their website, "elected officials have their own agenda to circumnavigate the truth and destroy the constitution of the United States."

The site states: "Quality Arms Idaho will not supply and firearm or product, manufactured by us, or any other company nor will we warranty, repair, alter, or modify and firearm owned by any State, County or Municipality who infringes on the right of its citizens to bear arms under the 2nd Amendment."

Bravo Company USA states:

"The people at Bravo Company USA and BCM support responsible private individuals having access to the same tools of civilian Law Enforcement to affect the same ends...As such Bravo Company's policy is that law enforcement officials and departments will be restricted to the same type of products available to responsible private individuals of that same city or state."

Downgraded: Moody’s outlook for the UK not sterling

The economies of the West are in a death throe thanks to liberal policies instituted by the Luciferian Rothschild/Rockefeller bankster cabal to wit, the collapse of Western civilization and subsequent one world government of the Rothschild’s King of Zion. Read The Protocols.

Britain's credit rating downgraded from AAA to Aa1

The Government’s economic strategy has been dealt a serious blow after a leading credit ratings agency downgraded UK debt on its expectation that growth will "remain sluggish over the next few years".

Friday night that it had cut the Government’s bond rating one notch from ‘Aaa’ – the highest possible level – to ‘Aa1’.

The move is a significant setback for Chancellor George Osborne, who has faced criticism that his strategy for dealing with UK’s huge debt burden is failing to deliver.

Moody’s pointed to “continuing weakness in the UK’s medium-term growth outlook, with a period of sluggish growth which [it] now expects will extend into the second half of the decade”.

The credit ratings agency also noted that the Government's debt reduction programme faced significant "challenges" and that the UK's huge debts are unlikely to "reverse before 2016".

Moody’s said that despite considerable structural economic strengths, growth is expected to be sluggish due to a combination of weaker global economic activity and the drag on the UK economy “from the ongoing domestic public- and private-sector deleveraging process.”

However, Moody’s, which is the first ratings agency to lower the UK from the highest rating, said the outlook on UK debt is stable.

Mr Osborne responded to the downgrade by insisting he would not change course on the Government’s austerity programme.

He called Moody’s decision a “stark reminder of the debt problems facing our country – and the clearest possible warning to anyone who thinks we can run away from dealing with those problems”.

“Far from weakening our resolve to deliver our economic recovery plan, this decision redoubles it.”

“We will go on delivering the plan that has cut the deficit by a quarter, and given us record low interest rates and record ‘the UK’s creditworthiness remains extremely high’ thanks in part to a ‘strong track record of fiscal consolidation’ numbers of jobs.”

He also took comfort that Moody’s noted that “the UK’s creditworthiness remains extremely high” thanks in part to a “strong track record of fiscal consolidation”.

Mr Osborne added: “[Moody’s] also make it absolutely clear that they could downgrade the UK’s credit rating further in the event of ‘reduced political commitment to fiscal consolidation’.

“We are not going to run away from our problems, we are going to overcome them.”

In his Autumn Statement in December, Mr Osborne admitted public finances were taking longer to address than he had hoped, adding that he would be forced to extend austerity measures by at least another year.

All three major credit agencies last year put the UK on "negative outlook", meaning they could downgrade its rating if performance deteriorates.

Why does the US government need 30,000 Guillotines and over 600 Million rounds of hollow point bullets?

Someone went to a lot of trouble to research and compile this information, the least you can do is read it, and consider it. If not, just go back to sleep!

The Bible says, as I understand it, that in the ‘last days’, the time of the anti-Christ, Christians will be beheaded. I find it interesting that the only societies practicing beheading in our time are Muslims.

I also find it interesting that the President of the United States has an affinity for the religion of the Muslims. Do the math!

Let me tell you something that I know is absolutely true, how you say…a lot of research and common sense.

The  Department of Homeland Security was not created to protect the citizens of the homeland, it was created to protect the GOVERNMENT of the United States from the citizens of the United States!

There are a hell of a lot more of us than them! If we could but wake up we could stop them in their tracks!!! Read The Protocols!

WE NEED TO INSTALL A BUNCH OF THESE IN WASHINGTON ! ! !

Why does the US government need 30,000 Guillotines and over 600 Million rounds of hollow point bullets?<br /><br />There are over 800 prison camps in the United States. All fully operational and ready to receive prisoners. They are all staffed and even surrounded by full-time guards. But they are all empty. These camps are to be operated by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) should Martial Law need to be implemented in the United States and all it would take is a presidential signature on a proclamation and the attorney general's signature on a warrant to which a list of names is attached. Ask yourself if you really want to be on THE list.<br /><br />The Rex 84 Program was established on the reasoning that if a "mass exodus" of illegal aliens crossed the Mexican/US border, they would be quickly rounded up and detained in detention centers by FEMA. Rex 84 allowed many military bases to be closed down and to be turned into prisons. Operation Cable Splicer and Garden Plot are the two sub programs which will be implemented once the Rex 84 program is initiated for its proper purpose. Garden Plot is the program to control the population. Cable Splicer is the program for an orderly takeover of the state and local governments by the federal government. FEMA is the executive arm of the coming police state and thus will head up all operations. The Presidential Executive Orders already listed on the Federal Register also are part of the legal framework for this operation.<br /><br />The camps all have railroad facilities as well as roads leading to and from the detention facilities. Many also have an airport nearby. The majority of the camps can house a population of 20,000 prisoners. Currently, the largest of these facilities is just outside of Fairbanks, Alaska. The Alaskan facility is a massive mental health facility and can hold approximately 2 million people. Now let's review the justification for any actions taken. Executive Orders associated with FEMA that would suspend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. These Executive Orders have been on record for nearly 30 years and could be enacted by the stroke of a Presidential pen:<br /><br /><br />EXECUTIVE ORDER 10990 allows the government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports.<br /><br />EXECUTIVE ORDER 10995 allows the government to seize and control the communication media.<br /><br />EXECUTIVE ORDER 10997 allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels and minerals.<br /><br />EXECUTIVE ORDER 10998 allows the government to seize all means of transportation, including personal cars, trucks or vehicles of any kind and total control over all highways, seaports, and waterways.<br /><br />EXECUTIVE ORDER 10999 allows the government to take over all food resources and farms.<br /><br />EXECUTIVE ORDER 11000 allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision.<br /><br />EXECUTIVE ORDER 11001 allows the government to take over all health, education and welfare functions.<br /><br />EXECUTIVE ORDER 11002 designates the Postmaster General to operate a national registration of all persons.<br /><br />EXECUTIVE ORDER 11003 allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.<br /><br />EXECUTIVE ORDER 11004 allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate communities, build new housing with public funds, designate areas to be abandoned, and establish new locations for populations.<br /><br />EXECUTIVE ORDER 11005 allows the government to take over railroads, inland waterways and public storage facilities.<br /><br />EXECUTIVE ORDER 11051 specifies the responsibility of the Office of Emergency Planning and gives authorization to put all Executive Orders into effect in times of increased international tensions and economic or financial crisis.<br /><br />EXECUTIVE ORDER 11310 grants authority to the Department of Justice to enforce the plans set out in Executive Orders, to institute industrial support, to establish judicial and legislative liaison, to control all aliens, to operate penal and correctional institutions, and to advise and assist the President.<br /><br />EXECUTIVE ORDER 11049 assigns emergency preparedness function to federal departments and agencies, consolidating 21 operative Executive Orders issued over a fifteen year period.<br /><br />EXECUTIVE ORDER 11921 allows the Federal Emergency Preparedness Agency to develop plans to establish control over the mechanisms of production and distribution, of energy sources, wages, salaries, credit and the flow of money in U.S. financial institution in any undefined national emergency. It also provides that when a state of emergency is declared by the President, Congress cannot review the action for six months. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has broad powers in every aspect of the nation. General Frank Salzedo, chief of FEMA's Civil Security Division stated in a 1983 conference that he saw FEMA's role as a "new frontier in the protection of individual and governmental leaders from assassination, and of civil and military installations from sabotage and/or attack, as well as prevention of dissident groups from gaining access to U.S. opinion, or a global audience in times of crisis." FEMA's powers were consolidated by President Carter to incorporate the National Security Act of 1947 allows for the strategic relocation of industries, services, government and other essential economic activities, and to rationalize the requirements for manpower, resources and production facilities. 1950 Defense Production Act gives the President sweeping powers over all aspects of the economy. Act of August 29, 1916 authorizes the Secretary of the Army, in time of war, to take possession of any transportation system for transporting troops, material, or any other purpose related to the emergency. International Emergency Economic Powers Act enables the President to seize the property of a foreign country or national. These powers were transferred to FEMA in a sweeping consolidation in 1979.<br /><br /><br />Where are these camps<br /><br />you ask????<br /><br /><br />ALABAMA<br /><br />Opelika - Military compound either in or very near town.<br /><br />Aliceville - WWII German POW camp - capacity 15,000.<br /><br />Ft. Virtually all military reservations, posts, bases, stations, & depots can be considered highly suspect (because it is "federal" land). Also fitting this category are "Regional Airports" and "International Airports" which also fall under federal jurisdiction and have limited-access areas. Mental hospitals, closed hospitals & nursing homes, closed military bases, wildlife refuges, state prisons, toxic waste dumps, hotels and other areas all have varying degrees of potential for being a detention camp area. The likelihood of a site being suspect increases with transportation access to the site, including airports/airstrips, railheads, navigable waterways & ports, interstate and US highways. Some facilities are "disguised" as industrial or commercial properties, camouflaged or even wholly contained inside large buildings (Indianapolis) or factories. Many inner-city buildings left vacant during the de-industrialization of America have been quietly acquired and held, sometimes retrofitted for their new uses. <br /><br /><br />CANADA<br /><br />Our Canadian friends tell us that virtually all Canadian military bases, especially those north of the 50th Parallel, are all set up with concentration camps. Not even half of these can be listed, but here are a few sites with the massive land space to handle any population:<br /><br />Suffield CFB - just north of Medicine Hat, less than 60 miles from the USA.<br /><br />Primrose Lake Air Range - 70 miles northeast of Edmonton.<br /><br />Wainwright CFB - halfway between Medicine Hat and Primrose Lake.<br /><br />Ft. Nelson - Northernmost point on the BC Railway line.<br /><br />Ft. McPherson - Very cold territory ~ NW Territories.<br /><br />Ft. Providence - Located on Great Slave Lake.<br /><br />Halifax - Nova Scotia. Dept. of National Defense reserve.... And others. <br /><br /><br />OVERSEAS LOCATIONS<br /><br />Guayanabo, Puerto Rico - Federal prison camp facility. Capacity unknown.<br /><br />Guantanamo Bay, Cuba - US Marine Corps Base - Presently home to 30,000 Mariel Cubans and 40,000 Albanians. Total capacity unknown. <br /><br /><br />There are other sites around the country, and they are literally popping up overnight. What is going to be the kick-off point to put these facilities into operation? A man-made or natural catastrophe? A major terrorist attack? An earthquake? A catastrophic financial collapse that would cause a panic of such dimensions to cause nationwide panic? Once a major disaster occurs (whether it is a real event or manufactured event does not matter) Martial Law is hurriedly put in place and we are all in the hands of the government agencies (FEMA) who thus portray themselves as our protectors. Yet what happens when we question those in authority and how they are taking away all of our freedoms? Will we be the ones detained in these camp sites? And who are they going to round up? Those with guns? Those who ask questions? Those that want to know what's REALLY going on?<br /><br />When first coming across this information, many go into a state of total denial. "How could this be? I believed our country was free, and always felt a sense of comfort in knowing that as long as we didn't hurt others in observing our freedom, we were left to ourselves." Ideally, that would be true. But the forces running this government are far from ideal. The time is fast approaching when we will be the ones asking "What happened to our freedom? To our free speech? To our right to protect ourselves and our family? To think as an individual? To express ourselves in whatever way we wish?"<br /><br />Once we challenge that freedom we find out how free we really are. How many are willing to take up that challenge? Very few indeed, otherwise we wouldn't find ourselves in the situation that we are in at the present time. We wouldn't have let things progress and get out of the hands of the public and into the hands of those that seek to keep us under their control no matter what it takes, and that includes the use of force and detainment for those that ask the wrong questions. Will asking questions be outlawed next? Several instances have recently been reported where those that were asking questions that came too near the untold truth (the cover up) were removed from press conferences and from the public's ear. Also, those that wanted to speak to the press were detained and either imprisoned, locked in a psychiatric hospital, slaughtered (through make-believe suicides) or discredited.<br /><br />Obviously those in NAZI Germany who were rounded up and killed didn't believe it could happen to them. How could decent people have witnessed such atrocities and still said nothing? Are we going to do the same thing here as they cart off one by one those individuals who are taking a stand for the rights of the citizens as they expose the truth happening behind the scenes? Or are we just going to sit there and wonder what happened to this country, until it's too late?<br /><br />http://www.endgameplan.info/listofcamps.html<br />http://www.westernjournalism.com/a-comprehensive-list-of-obamas-worst-executive-orders/<br />http://beforeitsnews.com/alternative/2013/01/fema-generating-trillion-dollar-profits-800000-fema-coffins-30000-guillotines-and-the-soft-kill-profit-machine-2538330.html

Why does the US government need 30,000 Guillotines and over 600 Million rounds of hollow point bullets?

There are over 800 prison camps in the United States. Ask yourself if you really want to be on THE list.

The Rex 84 Program was established on the reasoning that if a "mass exodus" of illegal aliens crossed the Mexican/US border, they would be quickly rounded up and detained in detention centers by FEMA. The Presidential Executive Orders already listed on the Federal Register also are part of the legal framework for this operation.

The camps all have railroad facilities as well as roads leading to and from the detention facilities. These Executive Orders have been on record for nearly 30 years and could be enacted by the stroke of a Presidential pen:

EXECUTIVE ORDER 10990 allows the government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 10995 allows the government to seize and control the communication media.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 10997 allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels and minerals.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 10998 allows the government to seize all means of transportation, including personal cars, trucks or vehicles of any kind and total control over all highways, seaports, and waterways.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 10999 allows the government to take over all food resources and farms.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11000 allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11001 allows the government to take over all health, education and welfare functions.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11002 designates the Postmaster General to operate a national registration of all persons.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11003 allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11004 allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate communities, build new housing with public funds, designate areas to be abandoned, and establish new locations for populations.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11005 allows the government to take over railroads, inland waterways and public storage facilities.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11051 specifies the responsibility of the Office of Emergency Planning and gives authorization to put all Executive Orders into effect in times of increased international tensions and economic or financial crisis.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11310 grants authority to the Department of Justice to enforce the plans set out in Executive Orders, to institute industrial support, to establish judicial and legislative liaison, to control all aliens, to operate penal and correctional institutions, and to advise and assist the President.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11049 assigns emergency preparedness function to federal departments and agencies, consolidating 21 operative Executive Orders issued over a fifteen year period.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11921 allows the Federal Emergency Preparedness Agency to develop plans to establish control over the mechanisms of production and distribution, of energy sources, wages, salaries, credit and the flow of money in U.S. financial institution in any undefined national emergency. These powers were transferred to FEMA in a sweeping consolidation in 1979.

OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE UNITED STATES
There are many other locations not listed above that are worthy of consideration as a possible detention camp site, but due to space limitations and the time needed to verify, could not be included here.

CANADA
Our Canadian friends tell us that virtually all Canadian military bases, especially those north of the 50th Parallel, are all set up with concentration camps. Not even half of these can be listed, but here are a few sites with the massive land space to handle any population:
Suffield CFB - just north of Medicine Hat, less than 60 miles from the USA.
Primrose Lake Air Range - 70 miles northeast of Edmonton.
Wainwright CFB - halfway between Medicine Hat and Primrose Lake.
Ft. Nelson - Northernmost point on the BC Railway line.
Ft. McPherson - Very cold territory ~ NW Territories.
Ft. Providence - Located on Great Slave Lake.
Halifax - Nova Scotia. Dept. of National Defense reserve.... And others.

OVERSEAS LOCATIONS
Guayanabo, Puerto Rico - Federal prison camp facility. Capacity unknown.
Guantanamo Bay, Cuba - US Marine Corps Base - Presently home to 30,000 Mariel Cubans and 40,000 Albanians. Total capacity unknown.
There are other sites around the country, and they are literally popping up overnight. Those that want to know what's REALLY going on?

When first coming across this information, many go into a state of total denial. To express ourselves in whatever way we wish?"

Once we challenge that freedom we find out how free we really are. Also, those that wanted to speak to the press were detained and either imprisoned, locked in a psychiatric hospital, slaughtered (through make-believe suicides) or discredited.
Obviously those in NAZI Germany who were rounded up and killed didn't believe it could happen to them. How could decent people have witnessed such atrocities and still said nothing? Are we going to do the same thing here as they cart off one by one those individuals who are taking a stand for the rights of the citizens as they expose the truth happening behind the scenes? Or are we just going to sit there and wonder what happened to this country, until it's too late?
